CROSS STICK SILHOUETTE SHOOT

22LR Silhouette Rifle Match

 I would like to invite everyone out for another enjoyable year of silhouette shooting. Since this is a sport for everyone I want to encourage everyone to bring out the youngsters. There is an age limit of 12 years old with adult supervision, but if the youngster can handle their rifle safely an exception can be made.

Rules:

1. Public Welcome
2. Cost $10.00 Children 12 to 17,  $5.00
3. Shooting starts at 9:00 AM
4. 22LR only
5. 40 shots for score, 10 shots per stage, (chicken, pig, turkey, and ram)
6. Unlimited sighters
7. There is a time limit of 20 min per stage
8. The animal has to fall off of the beam to count.
9. The animals do not have to be shot in order.
10. This is a prone cross-stick match

 There will be two classes:

1. Metallic sights from the prone cross-stick position
2. Scope sight from the prone cross-stick position

 Equipment:

1. Ear and eye Protection
2. Spotting scope
3. Cross-sticks
4. Shooting stool
5. Shooting Mat
6. Ammo and Rifle
7. Snack or Lunch

 If you plan to set up an umbrella, this can only be done during breaks or between matches.

Open bolt Indicators will be required.

 Silhouette shooting (.22 caliber, ranges to 125 yards) at 1/5 size silhouettes, 4 matches - 10 chickens @ 45 yds - 10 pigs @ 65 yds. - 10 turkeys @ 85 yds. and 10 rams @ 125 yds. Iron sights only, no scopes . Donation of $10.00. Sign-up time is between 8 & 9am. Matches will begin at 9:30am and finish by 3pm. Come early to register and help set-up. Coffee, doughnuts and a big jug of ice water will be furnished in the morning. Please bring your own lunch.

 2008 Schedule = May 17, June 14, July 19, August 16, Sept. 20, & Oct. 18. These are all on the 3rd.  Saturday of the month.
