The Sandusky County Sportsman's Club has regular Cowboy Action Shoots during the warmer months. We follow the rules of the Single Action Shooting Society, as we are now SASS affiliated.
At least 6 Scenarios are used at every event. All shoots start at 9:30 with a shooters' meeting. Breakfast is served in the Clubhouse, starting at 8:00 AM for a small charge. Cost for an event is a donation of $10.00 for Sandusky Co. Club members or $15.00 for non-members. Juniors age 17 and under will now shoot for $5.00 whether a club member or not. Classes include Modern, Duelist, Traditional, Juniors/Seniors, Frontiersman, Women and many more. There are also side shoots. Special pricing for the September shoot applies.Camping is available (no hookups)
Coming to our shoots by way of the turnpike. Leave the turnpike at exit 81. Turn left onto St. Rt. 51. Cross over St. Rt. 20 onto County Road 66. Take County Road 66 to the stop sign. Turn left onto St. Rt. 600. Continue on St. Rt. 600 for about 1 1/2 miles. The Sandusky County Sportsmen's Club will be on the left. We look forward to seeing you at our shoots.
